How can I adjust the Fuel Pump timing on my 1995 Astra 1.7 Diesel ?

Runs 'Lumpy' at low revs. Air filter is clean.
Did this by rotating pump on my 205 Diesel -improved economy +performance/less smoke.

Added cylinder head sealant = much better
Sold car/ got money back AOK
Nobody knows how to adjust injector pump timing on this model anyway !!!!!!!!
