stihl ms180 starts but wont run?

Sounds like your throttle rod came unhooked, or the eye broke out of the trigger (which is unlikely). Remove the Air Cleaner cover and remove the air filter. Activate the throttle trigger and see if anything is moving and/or come unhooked.
