rads stay hot when boiler is off?

over the last few days the rads have stayed very hot for up to 3 hrs after the boiler switch has been turned off, tonight the boiler has been off for hrs but the rads are still hot the boiler is not firing up? help

Rads do stay hot for hours after the boiler has gone off.That's the idea or have I missed something
