I have a 13 year old Kelvinator Impression 500 which has been alternately freezing stuff in the fridge or is not cold at all (freezer is fine). If we jiggle the temp control, it works fine again for 3 or so weeks, but then starts to play up again. Prob need to replace seals as well.
You've had 13 years out of it, so it's time for a new one as it's not worth repairing, even if you could get spares for it, which I doubt after 13 years
