wont run ?

replaced the primer bulb,wont pull gas , if i put a little gas in carb. starts easy ,wont stay running,just not getting gas. craftsman walk behind model # 917 376272

well one of 2 things is causing it not to get fuel... either the screen in the tume that goes into the tank is blocked or when you put in the primer bulb it didnt get pushed in all the way and it is sucking air instead of fuel. but it sounds more like the screen is clogged
