How fix spring that opens door of microwave? DeLonghi MW303?

My DeLonghi MW303 microwave has a button on the front to push which opens the door. The spring seems to be weakened and button needs to be pushed really hard, and a few times, before successfully opening the door. Is there anything I can do at home to open and fix it? How? thanks.
