Belling hob?

My Belling E663 Cooker hob rings seem to be on of off and not varible, which it means that its impossible to simmer, any one know the possible cause.

sounds as though the simmerstats are out of calibration, if so they would need to be replaced. you didnt state if they have all gone faulty at once or at different times, if all have gone together you you will need a service engineer to suss out the problem
