How I do I solve the problem with my zanussi FJS 1425 WASHING MACHINE?

My Zanussi FJS 1425 W washing machine resets after some time of operation and stops and the start light will only be flashing. There are other times that the START light is seen flashing without operation when you press the start button. I have to bang the top of the machine to get it started sometimes.
