I had a Hilux 4WD and I had possibly the same problem, I used 2 people for this method.
I used the bottle method with fluid in and clear plastic hose to see the air being expelled from the system not the single man bleeder you buy in shops.
To solve mine I jacked the rear of the vehicle so that it
was higher than the front, I started at the farthest away calliper or wheel cylinder from the Master cylinder.
I used this method to bleed.
Release the bleed nipple, a quick full push of the pedal to the floor and then 2 short strokes and hold down and lock the bleed nipple.
Check fluid level if necessary.
Repeat again until no air bubbles are visible from the system.
Then do the same for the other bleeders working from the other rear, I then let the Hilux down to floor level and then farthest front and finally closest to the Master cylinder.
This worked for me, hope it does for you if you try it.
