My on/off button is stuck on my zanussi Aquacycle xs 1000?

My on/off button is stuck on 'ON'. My washing machine is a Zanussi Aquacycle XS 1000. The washing machine has no power but when I press really hard on the button, the lights appear. If I had time and strength to press on the buttons for hours, I could get a wash.
