Mend Worcester Bosch Junior 24i Hot

worcester bosch junior 24i?

Hi ,

This is a bit of a strange issue. When running the hot water with the tap fully open the water only gets warm but does not get hot, but if i turn the tap so its half open (Rather than fully open) the water gets hot?

Any Ideas, cheers for help and advice in advance.

I know you posted this year's ago and there's almost zero chance you will read this. But do you or does anyone else know what caused this and whether or not it is a job that can be done my a none professional

Sounds like the plate heat exchanger is getting scaled up inside, replace it and make sure you have a good scale reducer like a combimate fitted NOT one of the cheap inline reducers.
