resetting maytag dishwasher?

hi-
i replaced the circuit board in my maytag d.w. -( 1-1/2 yrs old). after trying the heat dry/sanitize code, it goes thru a brief test cycle. i cannot stop the cycle, and although i hear water, none is entering the machine. all switches and solenoids test fine. does anyone know where to go next with this?, besides the curb!
