how can i get my ford fiesta t reg to fire when battery turning it over?

i bought a new battery 6 months ago but when cold weather starts it turns over 5 or 6 times but wont fire up but when i put jump leads on after my battery has gone flat it fires up any solutions. ps my turn over is strong when first do it .

looks like a cell gone in battery, or it is not charging hard enough do your lights go up as you rev it if they do it should be charging ok
