how can i fix the display on sharp r-530d/430d microwave?

Partly on topic...Year 2020: I tried to find a similar microwave with the lcd dot matrix display. I could not find any that has the large readout, and easy programing. In my opinion I would pay all the way up to a new price to get the old microwave fixed model R-530d or R-430d. The best microwave I ever had. The hurricane power surge blew out the display. I searched on ebay, but did not find this model. The instruction book shows year 2000.
