How can I fix my Panasonic VHS VCR Model PV-84056?
The VCR will only run, during the play command, at the FF speed. It can pause, or go on slow but does not show anything during play. How can I get it to run at the proper speed and show what is on the VHS tape?
your pinch roller is probably not engaging. open the unit up and look for a rubber roller on the deck rh side which should press up against a thin rotating metal capstan, with the tape between the two items. check there is nothing in the way.
