how can i fix my vauxhall astra diesel 1.7? ?

hi i have a simular problem on my 1.7 td astra van its loses power through the gears and as it does the engine managment light comes on but this doesnt happen all the time....ive plugged a diagnostic into it and no code comes up?? can anyone help? thanks.

check exhaust system/ silencer for blockage !!!!

hi these are thing to chech 1. air filter blocked 2.if the air filter is on the inner wing look inside the air pipe between the filter and engine to see if it is ok i could be collapsing on high reves 3. blocked fule filter 4. fule tank top breather blocked try it with top off 5.dirt in the fule tank slowing the fule flow down at reves 6. check if any inline filter are full of dirt 7.check that there is nothing under the throttle pedal stoping it going down to the floor 8.if it has a cable on the side of the injector pump mace sure it is going all the way back when you press the pedal down
