Movano 2.5 cdti Turbo issue?

I have a 54 plate Movano 2.5cdti that has suddenly started to blow the intake pipe to the intercooler off resulting in a sudden drop in power, a generous coating of oil is in the pipe, but no smoke from the exhaust or noise from the turbo. Taken turbo off and no real sign of bearing wear. So is it the turbo or something else
