when i start my 05 plte diesel vivaro all seems fine , no warning lights or any other lights show up on dash , but when i depress pedal van does not rev !! sometimes after about 30 seconds revs will appear and van drives as normal!! doing my brains in lol! any ideas will be appreciated thanks Gary. 07790 004 028 txt answer cheers.
Hi I have the same problem with my Renault Trafic. Apparently it's a safety system that stops the engine from revving to allow the oil to fully pump through all the engine parts. try changing the oil and filter.

A shot in the dark as I have seen other vauxhalls with a similar fault and it was the crank sensor,if it hasn`t been on a code reader would maybe try that first. good luck
