hotpoint wd 64 will not spin anymore!?

My Hotpoint wd64 was on spin cycle when we had a fuse blow on the socket circuit. There was a bang noise come from the machine and since then it will pump water in and out and put heat into the machine to dry but will not spin at any point of the washing or drying cycle. Any suggestions on how to sort this problem or fix it myself, excluding warranty, it was free second hand and warranty is past it's date.

Drum does not turn during wash cycle, pumping water out cycle, spin cycle or tumble drying cycle. I assume the motor is fecked or a fuse for the motor is!? first time looking at fixing a washing machine so not massively sure. is pcb program circuit board?

A bang noise would suggest that a component on a pcb has blown. probably the motor control pcb. you will need to take it out and look. with a bang, should be fairly obvious as to the problem. Depending on component, it might be possible to repair, other wise new board. You do not say if drum rotates during a wash, I assume it does. So motor ok.
