Mend John Deere L120 Safety Seat Switch Working

Safety Seat Switch working opposite?

I have a JD L120 and all of a sudden the blades will only turn when I'm NOT sitting on the seat. If I sit on the seat, they DISENGAGE!

I assume I need an new seat safety switch but is there anything I can do in the meantime?
