I just bought a used Sharp XE-A102 Cash Register. I would like to reset it back to original settings, clearing all memory, tax info, etc... Can anyone tell me how to do this?

Found the answer...

Before you start, be aware that you will lose all programming, even the functions and taxes.

Set the machine to REG mode. Pull one battery out. Turn off at wall. Wait 10 mins, turn on at wall. Put battery in.
