Indesit WIDL102 Bra wire?

Bra wire has got through the drum and the machine nows sounds like 'The Wheel of Fortune'!

! I have checked and the wire has gone completely through. I have removed the back plate and I think there is a heater or sump area which may grant access to the drum to poke around to see if the wire is there. Any tips on how to get in there?

After puzzling for an hour I gave in and phoned Indesit. I have just arranged for one of their engineers to arrive on the 19th sep after we are make from holiday. I am now reflecting on it and thinking £120 is a bit steep to repair a washing machine which I assume costs at least half of what they cost to buy new.
