2006 Mitsubishi projection tv WD-62628?

My 2006 Mitsubishi projection tv turns itself off almost immediately. The green timer light blinks rapidly for a minute, then nothing. I Installed a new lamp but it didnt fix the problem. Please help A.S.A.P!
