My Indesit Wil 103 washing machine won't start?

My machine won't start...help!

The onlight comes on so then I select the start button as normal and a green light goes on on the left hand side as if it's about to start, then nothing happens.

I've checked what seems obvious to me- power supply is ok, switched it off & gave it time to 'reset', emptied it of washing, cleaned out the filter, checked the water tubes.
I've changed the wash cycle (which only changes which green light is on on the left hand side), changed the temperature, switched it off and on again on the machine and at the mains, i've changed the delay start....

There's nothing else I can think of. Any ideas please?
