key fob / centarl locking issues ?

anyone any idea ? i recently changed the batt in key fob for 54 reg megane , the car now is constantly locking and unlocking itself , the car battery is dead, the digital display has been erased ie mph , miles left info etc .and the drivers side window is working properly any ideas / solutions
