won't shut down?

as soon as the pilot is alight, the burner fires up, even with all the heating turned off, I have to manually turn off the gas supply, or it just keeps on goining.
I have changed the thermocoupling, and the heating controls, I have also checked the frost stat and the micro switch still seems to be working, and it is an unfused stat, so I am now lost and in need of help.
