Mend Hotpoint WDM73 Unlock Stuck Lock

Hotpoint WDM73 will not unlock!?

My washer/dryer is stuck locked. The 'lock' symbol never went off after the cycle had finished, and is still on now! I cannot open the machine! I have tried re-running another wash programme to 'jog its memory' to unlick it, but nothing! Its still locked! Any ideas?
