you have to remove the upper and lower column covers,key must be in position 1 and insert a small screwdriver into the small hole above the ign.barrell and it should pull out,check the small spring on the end of the barrell,refit in reverse,again the key must be in position 1,good luck

have had a couple of these where the spring breaks in the ign.switch and when you pull the key out the centre part of the switch should pop out but sticks in and this affects the central locking,maybe worth a look.
