beko wm5120s fills but wont spin?

machine fills with water but will not spin have checked belt and motor spins freely have checked pressure switch seems fine. even when you just select spin cycle it does nothing. someone said it could be the timer where is it and how do i test/check to see if this is the problem thanks

thanks ck will try. will have to look up on internet how to check bushes and carbon if this is the case is it an expensive fixs thanks again

remove the motor and then check the motor brushes.10mm or less of carbon is worn out.you can pull and stretch the carbon and refit the old brushes to quick test but do not use it like this as it can destroy the motor
