Hotpoint Mistral Plus 8596 Fridge showing temp flashing, will not go cold?

Mistral Plus 8596 shows the temperature flashing, but will not go cold, could you tell me what is wrong, the freezer is working fine.

Called out an engineer, the problem was the condenser and the airway at the bottom, needed cleaning as it was clogged with years of dust. The engineer checked the thermosisters which are working correctly. I will definitely use him again and pass on his business card to friends.
