Mend Hayter Harrier 48 Lawn Mower Engine Starting Problem

Hayter Harrier 48 Briggs & Stratton Quantum will only run on choke?

Hi,
We have a Hayter Harrier 48 fitted with and Briggs and Stratton Quantum engine. The problem is, it will only run with the choke on. As soon as the lever is mover from the choke position, it dies. Starts no problem.
