The belt on my hotpoint 9326 reversing dryer comes off the spindle?
I have replaced the belt on my hotpoint 9326 aquarius reversing tumbledryer and put it between the pulleys onto the motor spindle.Now when it runs the belt runs off the motor spindle.Should there be a nut that fixes onto the motor spindle to prevent this?
PS. CHECK THE BELT FOR ANY DAMAGE AND REPLACE IF AT ALL SUSPECT.

WIRE BRUSH THE SPINDLE TO MAKE SURE THERE IS NOTHING THROWING THE BELT OUT OF THE GROOVES,IF THAT DOESN'T WORK,ITS PROBABLY THE NYLON BEARING PADS ARE WORN AND THE DRUM IS NOT RUNNING TRUE.[ASSUMING ALL BOLTS ARE TIGHT]
