Mend John Deere L120 Lawn Mower Blades Wiring

PTO won't engage?

My L120 has run perfectly for the 10 years I've had it. Today as I was mowing my lawn, the engage button for mowing in reverse started to not stay engaged. Then the PTO quit engaging the blades altogether (forward and reverse). I've never had an issue with it before. I'm thinking it's a wiring/switch issue. Any ideas?
