my qualcast classic 35s rear roller keeps jamming up?
How can I fix my qualcast classic 35s rear roller that keeps jamming up?
It seems like the toothed pinion that provides the drive to the rear roller is showing signs of wear.
What is the normal cause and how can I fix it please?
Fitted new pinion; didnt work. Fitted new gear ring; still jams. Bearing in pinion mounting place is perfect. What else is there? Help please?

Spindle or inner toothed gear worn, this causes the roller to run ' out of true', result is premature wear on the drive pinion and the drive ring. Pointless just changing the pinion it wil only last a season

The cause is simple - the manufacturer chose to make this part out of bubblegum instead of engineering the drive system properly.
The only cure is to buy a replacement drive pinion - not particularly cheap, but I don't know of any alternative.
