GE WASHER WCVH6260 - PAUSE light keeps flashing, then the cycle stops?

I Cleaned the pump filter, but still have a problem with the Start/Pause light flashing. So I assume we have a deeper problem...

I'm wondering if maybe the door locking assembly (switch) is the issue since we can not hear it lock down to begin the cycle?
