How do I change the door seal on my Fisher and Paykel Nautilus 820 DW?

Our dishwasher is about 8 years old and has started to leak. I'm pretty sure it is the door seal, it is looking a bit deformed and hard.

I have bought a new seal and before I jump head on in, I'd like some simple instructions on how to do it.

Do I just need to remove the metal bracket that holds the seal on or is there more to it?

Do not remove the metal holders. Just loosen the screws. Pull old gasket out and fit new one. You will need a tube of silicone. I use clear RTV acid cure. This is to put behind gasket on top left & right corners to hold the gasket in position otherwise over time those corners will sag and come away. Following is copy of instructions from service manual.

Location: The door gasket is located around the perimeter of the tub frame and
retained by three retainers - left hand, right hand, top and two corner
gussets (LH & RH) which are held in position by 18 screws.
1. Loosen the 18 screws beneath the edge of the gasket in turn.
2. Remove gasket.
Refitting
1. Place right hand top corner of gasket into place and push section of the gasket beneath
the retainer on the right hand side, sliding fingers downward until gasket reaches
second screw.
2. Slightly tighten first screw to hold gasket in position.
3. Continue in this manner until right hand screws are all slightly tightened.
4. Work from right to left along top of the tub frame in a similar manner. Continue down left
hand side of the tub frame in a similar manner. Place in both bottom screws.
8. With a tube of silicon sealant, ease a quantity into the top corners underneath the
gasket.
9. Ensure gasket is evenly sited and correct around the full perimeter.
10. Tighten all screws firmly and evenly, do not over tighten as this will damage gasket.
11. Test run the product. Check for leaks, look for signs of water on the inner door outside
the perimeter of the gasket.
