How do I removed a panic button from Optima XM?

I am having a new door fitted and need to move a panic button prior to the installation.
How do I go about doing this?

remove the cover of the pa button key in ur pin number to stop the alarm,then refit ur pa button reset it using the key then press reset

Can't see what a panic button has to do with a door.
