If you get ERR after a couple of seconds...chances are the motor is faulty...To prove it...there is a fuse inside where the display is. You will need to strip it down to get at the fuse. If it is blown...and it probably will be......the motor will be the problem.

Replace the motor (can get from Amazon)and fuse (250ma quick blow, Soldered on )and all will be well.

the motor has failed it easy to take apart and change about a 10 min job, the part is on ebay and on amazon regards Sandy.

I have the same problem with ours. It keeps throwing up the er error. It turns a quarter of a turn then it gives the long beep and the error symbol comes on the display. Can anyone advise?
