Mend Stannah 215 Broken Spare Appears

how can I fix my stannah 215 stair lift?

The 9 wire belt on my stair lift is broken and the spare part appears to be obsolete, any suggestions on repair or replacement would be very welcome

Hi there are your sure its 9 wires in your trailing cable it should be 7 as i have changed loads of these and you can buy this on STAIRLIFT SPARES WEBB SITE.......also when measuring for new trailing cable you measure the length of rail plus add 1 metre so if rail is 4mtrs long you buy 5mtrs.
