How do I replace drive belt on Creda TVU1?

I've obtained the correct replacement belt for my Creda TVU1 Tumble Dryer, but am unable to replace it because I lack the relevant tool Creda engineers use to stretch it over the spindle. Has anyone found a way around this? Thanks!
