Flashing SE could indicate boiler timer has been set with service interval, it would flash SE after pre-set time, usually a year. depending on how it has been set, it could cut out after full year since last service reached.

There must have reset button ,refer to boiler manual ,or switch off boiler from main supply and switch on again ,air in system
