Emails?

In that case, I suggest switching to another e-mail client.
Personaly, I use Mozilla Thunderbird cince when i used Windows 98 without any problem. It's a free download from:
https://www.mozilla.org/thunderbird/
Available in most languages.

After installing, you'll be asked if you want to import your Contacts/Peoples list and messages from outlook.
Agree to the importation and you are good to go.

Problem although Hotmail account the top menu is outlook after the name change.

Looking up the 'People' list of my contacts none of the auto showings that I want to delete are in my contacts list as I have never added them.

They were occasional contacts of stores ect. and highlighting and pressing delete when showing in the auto display still doesn't cancel them.

They are a pain in the arse as I might slip up and send a message to them as well as family. This prediction/auto is a pain in the arse when I could just write out a list keeping it by the computer. To recap Hotmail and windows 7.
I'm at a loss apart from using tipex on the screen.

This should work with any e-mail client, not just outlook.

The autolist should only show addresses that are actualy in your contact list.

Open your contact list.
Sellect the first contact that you no longer want to keep.
HOLD down the Ctrl key.
Click on the other contacts that you want to remove.
When all are sellected, release the Ctrl key.
Press the Delete key.
All sellected contacts will be removed from your list and should no longer show up in your autolist.

Be carefull. That action probably definitive: You probably can't go back.
