fixing the door?

The door on my microwave doesn't always catch; to make the connection you really have to slam it. I have found the directions before on fixing this door but can't find them. All I remember is opening the back to bring the latch back up closer to the catch nad the person who posted them kept referencing - unplug the unit, seriously, unplug it! It was an easy fix but before I start I'd like a refresher course and an idea of the right tools. Thanks - It's a Panasonic,model NN-SN778S
