what"s the problem with my washing machine not taking fabric softener??

I have a six year old Bloomberg washing machine, front loader and it"s not taking on fabric softener properly. What"s the problem? Thanks

Remove the dispenser drawer and you will see a syphon tube, give this a good clean out using a cotton bud and hot water as suggested. Next time you add conditioner dilute it first as the conditioner clogs the tube up when added neat.
