2005 Peugeot 407 SW HDi ?

Hi. I have the same problem with LCD fading after about 15 mins and getting warm. The functions are all ok when cold... My problem is... everyone i have seen for sale on e bay etc has a brown 12 pin connection.. mine has only 6. can anyone advise pls. Its a 2005 407 sw
The main dealers want £170 for a new one but have to order but cannot confirm if the one that arrives will be 6 pin.
