311 cdi van gearbox problem with 5th & 6thgear ?

Does anyone please what could be wrong with my gear box on my 311 cdi lwb van/ truck, it go's into 5th and 6th but seems like in neutral ,no grinding or noises of any kind 1to4 gear are fine to can anyone help please Thanks Rob

Check the cables at the n/s of the gearbox. Sounds like the "gate" cable has come adrift (not the ball joint but the outer cable locator, allowing it to pull but not push as it will just move the outer cable away from its location. 5 sec fix hopefully! Cable pushes in sideways, not front to rear if that makes sense!

do you mean you have no drive in 5th and 6th? if so then it probably is an internal problem in the g/box itself
