Mend Very Low Flame

very, VERY low flame?

Fire will not go to high with the thermostat set to high. Very low flame as if blockage is present. Thermostat will shut flame off and pilot is normal, just no high setting. Fireplace was shut off for the summer by the thermostat, not the gas line.
