bathroom heater?

there is a 2kw down flow heater in our bathroom that works fine but it heats the wall that it is mounted to much can the angle of the heateroutlet be angled away from the wall to direct the flow of the heat safely away from the wall,it is a challenge make with with pull cord control and fitted onto the supplied mounting base on the wall.Thanks.

Most 2 kW bathroom down-flow heaters are not designed to have the outlet angle adjusted. Altering the airflow can be unsafe and may cause overheating or fire risk. Check the required clearances and make sure it’s mounted exactly as specified. If needed, a heat-rated deflector plate can redirect airflow without modifying the heater. no.but you can open it up and you will find a switch that turns it downfrom 2 k to one,turn of the isolating switch before opening the cover
