Is a cluster fault likely to get bad enough to stop the car from starting? I have a dead 54 plate 1.8 petrol Ghia. Stalled the other day and won't start since. Cluster was playing up for a couple of weeks previously. On start up, dials would flicker for a couple of seconds then be normal.
