where does the metal strip fit and connect to inside the handle switch assembly of a qualcast concorde 32 electric lawnmower

I don't know but I guess that it might be a spring - shown as part number 175/09 in this diagram

Sadly the diagram does not show exactly where it goes - but if it's bendy that it'll be a spring - so that should help you work it out.

Use Ctrl + to make the picture bigger - but it doesn't help much
